In the case that you don’t want to hire someone to do this for you and you want to do it yourself there are plenty of tips the help you! Blogger, Rebekah Radice, wrote a list of eleven tips to make the best social media campaign. Along with identifying your audience, Radice also suggests, setting goals for your social media campaign, and having a list of things that you want to eventually post. The blog, Sprout Social posted an articles titled, Social Media Outreach for Beginners, which is extremely helpful if you are unsure how to break into the big world of social media. Similar to Rebekah Radice’s article, it makes you ask yourself what you are trying to achieve through your social media page/website. Another great piece of advice it gives is to make a contact list, and be sure to contact them! The author says, “Once they have their list put together they immediately start sending Tweets and DMs asking for things. The first time you contact someone shouldn’t be to ask for something. It’s just like meeting someone in real life.” Be personable! Build professional relationships with the people you hope to work with! By following the tips suggested in these blogs you will have a more than successful social media campaign/website following in no time. References:
